Celebrate with us, share some delicious kai, and be part of planning the co-op’s future.
Sunday 6 May, from 12pm at Windsor Park
Shared lunch, bring a plate. We will have a brief report from Jeremiah (chair) and Jacinta (finances), and fulfil our AGM requirements, including election/re-election of committee roles. If you would like to be on the committee, treasurer, secretary or chair, let us know before or on the day.
The main focus will be an informal chat about what’s going on behind the scenes:
– Be part of the decision around what dry goods we stock, what are your staples you’d always like to have available?
– What do you see as the future for the co-op? A flour mill and freshly ground organic flour? Co-op fruit trees as an income stream, so we can lower the markup on other goods? Community garden or co-op garden beds? Insulation for the shop space? A children’s playground area and pizza oven? A commercial kitchen open for members to use? All this is possible, there are grants available which we can apply for, and man power within the co-op. What’s your dream?
